The situation in Al Fashar city of Sudan has become worse than hell. People are eating animal feed and garbage, not grains to satisfy hunger. The United Nations has warned that if the ceasefire is not done immediately, then thousands of people can die. According to the United Nations’ Humanitarian Affairs Office (OCHA), there is frequent violence and shelling in Al Fashar. Common people are the most affected by this. In the capital of North Darfur, the state of starvation and malnutrition has become explosive.

Rising starvation and bread price on the sky

The World Food Program (WFP) says that due to the closure of the trade route, the prices of grains like tide and wheat have increased by 460 percent. Only some kitchens are able to give hot food to people. The rest of the people are somehow alive by eating cow-buffalo and garbage.

The condition of women and children is the worst

The report states that the condition of women-dominated families is worse. Of these, 75% of the families are not getting enough food. Only 1.9% of women are getting enough food. This is the most danger in pregnant women and children. 73% of women across the country are unable to take minimum diet.

Diseases and deaths increased

Cholera has spread in Darfur. More than 3,600 cases have been reported in North Darfur and more than 1,200 suspicious cases in the southern part. There is a huge shortage of clean water and medicines.

UN appeal

UN agencies are trying to improve the situation, but there is a great need for money for this. The United Nations has appealed to the international community to come forward to save Sudan, who struggle with hunger, disease and war tragedy. If the situation does not change, then Sudan will really become the hell of the earth.
