This was discovered when a strange disease spread in a village named Serinha Dose Pintos in Brazil, due to which the children were not able to walk on their feet. When biologist Silvana Santos did the village during the village, he was stunned to know the truth. He was surprised that people are there on this hill village there, no one went out anywhere and kept marrying among themselves.

Mysterious disease spread
Silvana Santos went to this village 20 years ago, which is a secluded community in the northern mountains of Brazil. Less than 5,000 people live in this village and a mysterious disease had spread here for a long time. Many children were losing their ability to walk but the families were not aware of the reason for this. According to the BBC report, these children have a spoan syndrome, which happens when the parents are present in both parents. Silvana has called this village a different world, which is very beautiful and like a wide family.

Most couples are siblings
According to Silvana, due to the village being very isolated and remote, the movement of outsiders here is very less. This is the reason that marriages between cousins ​​and sisters in this village are very common. Although this is so among many tribes of Brazil, but it was seen more here than other parts. Silvana traveled 2,000 km from Sao Paulo to Sarinha, detected the disease after telling people time. The study revealed that in a third of families, children were suffering from Spoan syndrome.

What is spoan syndrome?
Silavana that this effort first recognized the disease globally. Although there is no cure for Spoan syndrome, Silvana’s efforts have changed the attitude of the people about this situation. It is also called spastic paraplegia, which is a rare neurodynaging disorder, due to which is a genetic mutation. Its symptoms begin to appear before adolescence and grow over time. There is no cure for this and it can only be managed by treatment.
