Dr. Vikas Mittal has shared these tips to manage asthma provoking:

1. Stay calm and manage anxiety:

The first step is to remain calm during the flare. Anxiety can accelerate symptoms of asthma, so it is important to control breathing. Sit straight to reduce the lung expansion and take slow, stable breaths.

2. Use an inhaler:

Use the reliever inhaler as determined and closely monitor the response. If the symptoms improve after some puff of the reliever drug, continue to monitor the situation until you feel stable. However, if there is no improvement or if symptoms increase, such as difficulty in talking or walking, pay immediate medical attention. These can be a sign of a serious asthma attack that requires emergency care.

3. Use regularly prescribed medicine:
