Stree 2 box office collection Day 4: New figures have emerged for the Sunday collections of Amar Kaushik’s latest film. The horror-comedy has registered its second-highest single day collection till date, estimates suggest. According to a report in sacnilk.com, the film has cost Rs 50 crores. The report says that Stree 2 is going to release soon. Earned 184 crores in four days. Stree 2 got a total of 70.41% viewership in Hindi on Sunday, while Bengaluru had the highest viewership of 84%.
About Stree 2
Directed by Amar Kaushik, this Hindi film is a sequel to the 2018 hit film Stree, which marked the beginning of the horror comedy world of Maddock Films.
“Stree 2”, starring Abhishek Banerjee, Pankaj Tripathi and Aparshakti Khurana, released in theatres across the country on August 15, on the occasion of Independence Day.
According to the production house, the net domestic collection of the film was 145.8 crores at the end of three days. The post on the banner’s X page read, “The undisputed Stree of the Box Office! Thanks to the audience for making this possible.”
Stree 2 is based on the lead characters who successfully solved the mystery of the female ghost in the first film, and now they face a new terror in the form of a ghost who has only one head, called Sarkata.
The film is a part of producer Dinesh Vijan’s horror comedy universe which also includes films like Bhediya and Munjya.

Recently Kangana Ranaut wrote a long note praising the film and its director Amar Kaushik.
