SSC CGL 2025: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) recently announced that the deadline to view the answer keys and raise objections of the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier-I 2025 exam has been extended. Candidates who appeared for the exam will now be able to raise objections against the provisional answer key before 11 am on Tuesday, October 21.
“It has been decided to extend the last date from 19.10.2025 (09:00 PM) to 21.10.2025 (11:00 PM). All other terms and conditions mentioned in the notice dated 16.10.2025 will remain the same,” the October 18 notification said.
As per the previous notice, the answer key challenge window, which opened on October 16 (9:00 PM), was to close on October 19 at 9:00 PM. However, the new order implies that the window will now close at 11:00 am on October 21.
Candidates will be able to raise objections and challenge the answer key by paying the prescribed fee Rs 50 per question on the official website ssc.gov.in.
SSC CGL Tier 1 2025 Exam: How to Download Answer Key?
The steps to access the response sheet are given below:
Step 1: Visit the official website of SSC, ssc.gov.in.
Step 2: Click on “Uploading of probable answer key along with candidate’s response sheet” under “Notice Board” section on the homepage.
Step 3: The user will be able to automatically download the answer key along with the response sheet.
Step 4: Save it for future reference.
SSC CGL Tier 1 2025 Exam: How to raise objections
The steps to challenge the answer key are given below:
Step 1: Visit the official website ssc.gov.in to login.
Step 2: Select “Answer Key Challenge” under “My Application” section of CGL Tier 1 Exam.
Step 3: Select “Click Here” and provide key details like complaint type, issue, scanned image and proceed by paying the fee.
Step 4: Click on “View Complaint Question” to view the question on which the objection has been raised.
It is important to note that the Tier 1 exam was conducted across 255 centers in 126 cities over a period of 15 days. Out of the 28 lakh candidates who registered for the exam, around 13.5 lakh candidates appeared.
