Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially released schedule for the much awaited SSC CGL Tier-1 Exam 2025.
According to the schedule, SSC CGL Tier-For 14,582 vacancies, 1 exam will be conducted in the same shift from 12 September to 26, 2025.

SSC CGL Tier 1 exam for 14,582 vacancies under Group-B and Group-C posts will be held on 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th, 19, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 25th, 25th and 26 September 2025.
Candidates who have applied SSC CGL Tier 1 Examination Examination centers will be allotted within 100 km radius of their chosen places.
About 28 lakh candidates have registered for SSC CGL exam this year. The exam is expected to be one of the biggest competitive tests conducted in the country.
SSC CGL city intimacy slip
The SSC will issue a city information slip about 7-10 days before the examination.
Through this slip, candidates can check their allotted examination centers and exam date.
Candidates are advised to visit the official SSC website for further updates.
Admit card
The admit cards will be released 2-3 days before the date of the examination to appear in SSC CGL Tier-1 exam 2025.
Candidates have to download the admit card from regional SSC websites, take a print out and take it to the examination center with valid identity proof.
The admit card reporting time, exam city and shift details will also mention.
Selection process
The recruitment process for SSC CGL 2025 includes two phases -Tier -1 and Tier -2.
There will be no interview in the selection process and the performance of written examination will be the only criteria for selection.
To recruit 8,477 non-teaching employees in West Bengal state schools
The West Bengal School Services Commission (WBSSC) issued a notification for the recruitment of 8,477 non-teaching employees in state-driven and aided secondary and higher secondary schools.
Last week, the Commission said that 2,989 non-teaching group C employees would be admitted after a written test and interview.
Apart from this, 5,488 Group D employees will also be recruited.
In the notification, the WBSSC said that candidates can apply online from 16 September to 31 October.
On 3 April, the Supreme Court upheld an order of the Calcutta High Court, in which 25,753 teaching and non-teaching staff jobs admitted in the 2016 state-level selection test conducted by WBSSC were invalidated.
