“You learn something from every film. Every film is like your first film. That’s how this industry works. When it comes to my ideas, I try to see some kind of diversity in the subjects I choose, even if they are all in the thriller genre. There’s a bit of variety in it,” Raghavan tells us.
He adds, “For example, merry christmas It was a love story in the form of a thriller. This got me excited. Some people liked it, some people thought it was slow, but it was something I wanted to do.”
Talking further about the response, the director, who has made his name in the thriller genre, shares, “It’s okay. I never expected that kind of love Andhadhun get. but it was a success Andhadhun This encouraged me to do something experimental and risky. I knew that some people would find the film slow. But in my heart I was hoping that the film would run on the big screen and find an audience. That being said, it has its own value, and I am satisfied with the response the film has received.

Talking about the festival, he says, “The primary function of the film festival is to gather a lot of film lovers and so that community viewing and interaction can take place. That was my intention with this, as I focused on bringing together a lot of thriller films from all eras, from 1947 to the most recent.”
