Actors Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna will begin the Delhi leg of shooting for Cocktail 2 in a few days and we have all the details right here! HT City has exclusively learned that contrary to reports it will not be a month-long shoot, but will be shot only for a few days at a few locations in South Delhi.
The actors recently completed the Europe leg of the shooting schedule and will soon head to the capital for some important scenes, which will be divided between Delhi and Gurgaon.

A source tells us, “No, there is not a month-long shoot here. They will be shooting in Delhi from November 11 to November 20.”
Specific locations in Delhi have been locked for the film, as the source revealed, “It’s mostly outdoor shooting. They will be shooting in Chhatarpur and Gurugram apart from a few other locations in South Delhi.”
With AQI levels crossing 300 in Delhi, the film team is taking special precautions for the smooth shooting schedule of the film.
From air purifiers in vanity vans and rooms to wearing masks on the sets, the production is making every possible effort to have a safe and productive shooting time.
Additionally, the source says, “There will also be water sprinklers on the set and this will be used before the shoot and if required, every day to ensure a safe environment.”
While the cast of the film has not reached Delhi yet, director Homi Adajania posted a story from an airplane, hinting at it already flying to Delhi. However he did not mention the location and teased fans by writing “Go figure. #cocktail2”.

Starring Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles, the film is a spiritual sequel to the 2012 film, which starred Saif Ali Khan, Diana Penty and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles. Filmmaker Homi Adajania, who directed the first film, has taken over the director’s chair for this one as well.
Recently, videos and pictures of his shooting from Sicily, Italy went viral on social media.
While Shahid and Kriti have shared the screen space in the 2024 film Teri Baton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, this is the first time that Rashmika will be seen with the two on the big screen.
