Jannut actor recently became a social media sensation after his performance at the Wankhed Stadium in the final two matches of Mumbai Indians.
Bollywood actor Sonal Chauhan has been an unexpected attraction of the last few Mumbai Indians matches – not due to his performance on the screen, but his presence in the stand. The 37 -year -old, whose showcase at the Wankhede Stadium has provoked a social media frenzy, says he had no idea that there was no way.
“It was completely unexpected,” Sonal shared with us in a clear conversation. “I was just there to watch the match. I didn’t even know that I was on TV until people started sending me screenshots and memes later. The whole thing has just blown up – it’s a pleasant surprise, honesty,” she said.
A self-exploited ‘dye-hard Mumbai Indians Fan’, Sonal was particularly thrilled to return to Rohit Sharma’s return to a person. “I have always said that Rohit Sharma is one in a way. There are things that he can do on the ground that no one else can do. Seeing him is like seeing the art – he is so comfortable and focused.
Despite all the chatter online – some of which include debate around male gaze and camera focus on female fans – Sonal separated the Objectibility story. “I don’t think it’s about the cameraman. IPL is seen across the country by families. I think it is more about catching the eyes of the audience,” he explained, even mentioning a viral reel where a man joked for not getting the screen time.
While the social media spotlight can be new, one thing is not a matter that there is a constant fan demand with Emraan Hashmi to see his reunion. Ever since his hit film Heaven (2008), the pair has a permanent effect. “I have been getting a request for a paradise sequel for years now – on social media, in my DMS, even when people meet me. I really hope that it happens because I know that the fans will be very happy.”
