The wait is about to end soon! Astrologers are preparing for a rare but exciting astronomical event, a total solar eclipse, which is scheduled to occur today (Monday), April 8. This will take place just before the nine-day Hindu festival Chaitra Navratri. Astrologers believe that the eclipse is an auspicious event.

3) Universe lovers in the US can watch the live view of the total solar eclipse at locations where it is visible. It will start at 9.12 pm tonight and end at 2.22 am on April 9.
4) There will be no Sutak period in India because solar eclipse will not be visible here this year.
5) Stargazers are advised to avoid direct sunlight as it is dangerous to do so without safety gear or eye protection. To view this divine beauty, one must use special eye protection.
6) To protect their eyes, people should use a special-purpose solar filter on binoculars, camera lenses, or the front optics of a telescope before viewing any part of the bright Sun.
7) Aditya L1, the first solar mission launched by the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), will follow and record the Sun during a total solar eclipse on April 8.
8) NASA will livestream the total solar eclipse 2024 on NASA+, NASA TV and the agency’s official website.
9) The US space agency will broadcast the eclipse live through the telescope on NASA Television’s media channel and YouTube without any commentary. The three-hour nonstop streaming will begin at 1 p.m.
10) This year it will be a rare total solar eclipse where the Moon will completely cover the Sun and the sight will appear as a ring of fire.
