Skoda has announced that it will expand the introductory pricing for Kachalak by the end of April. It will continue to sell at an initial price 7.89 million East-Dhoroom. Skoda launched Kailak in November and delivery began in January.
Kailak is the third model of the Czech manufacturer under its India 2.0 strategy. It sits under Kushak and Slavia, which makes Kaylack the cheapest vehicle in the lineup of Skoda. It is based on the MQB-A0-I-in platform, which also reduces Kushak, Slavia, Volkswagen Varkuas and Taigun.
Skoda Kailak Engine
Skoda Kylaq is introduced only with a 1.0-liter engine that is a three-cylinder unit. It is tuned for 114 bhp of Max Power and peak torque output of 178 Nm. As a standard, it comes for a 6-speed manual gearbox, but also has a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The base classic version of the subclac SUV will be available only with manual transmission.

Skoda Kailak is introduced in four variants – classic, signature, signature+ and prestige.

Skoda Kailak is available in seven color options – luxurious silver, tornado red, carbon steel, lava blue, deep black, olive gold and candy white.
Skoda Kailak features
Skoda Kylaq is equipped with a digital instrument cluster and a 10.1-inch central touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto. These features are exclusive to high trim levels, while the base model is equipped with a five-inch touchscreen and a semi-digital instrument cluster.
The vehicle offers six-way power-adjustable front seats with ventilation, and the interior can be adapted with single or double tone color schemes based on the selected version. Classic, Signature and Signature+ Trims feature a variety of fabric upholstery, while the top-tier presesties trim is fitted with leathernet seats. Additionally, an electric sunroof is estimated to be available for this version.

Skoda claims that the new Kailak has tested more than 800,000 km of Indian territory to ensure its readiness for the country’s challenging driving situations. The car is equipped with more than 25 active and passive security facilities, including six airbags, a multi-coolon brake system, rollover security, an electronic differential lock, anti-lock brake with EBD and anti-lock brake and electronic stability control.

Skoda Kailak faces strong competition from rivals such as Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Hyundai Sthal, Kia Sonnet, and Mahindra XUV 3xo.
Skoda Kailak Price
Kaylak’s base model is available at the price 7.89 lakhs, bringing it into position as one of the most affordable options in its category. In contrast, top level Skoda Kailak reputation is offered 14.40 lakhs for automatic transmission variants, while the manual transmission version is priced 13.35 lakhs. Additionally, the price of mid-range signature and signature+ model is priced 9.59 lakhs and 11.40 lakhs for manual transmission options, and 10.59 lakhs and 12.40 lakhs for automatic transmission variants respectively.
