After facing several delays, Indian astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla will fly into space with three other astronauts on Wednesday as part of the SpaceX -Xiom -4 mission.
The crew-which includes Pegi Whitson, Soloz Uznoski-Einvski of Poland, Tibor Kapu of Hungary and Shuhanshu Shukla of India-a new SpaceX will travel to the international space station on a dragon spacecraft.
The crew will reach the ISS around EDT (IST) on Thursday, 26 June at around 7 pm and will remain there for 14 days.
For ISRO astronaut and group captain Shubhunu Shukla, this self -proclaimed mission makes the basis for India’s space roadmap to land an Indian on the ground by 2040.

Wednesday, 25 June
12:30 AM EDT – Axiom Space and Spacex launched coverage begins. Live coverage of the launch and arrival of the crew will stream on NASA+ and on the social media platforms of exiom space and NASA.
1:40 AM EDT– NASA is included in the launch coverage on NASA+.
2:31 am edt (12.01): Axiom launches space mission
NASA will eliminate coverage after orbital insertion, which is about 15 minutes after launch.
Thursday, 26 June
5 EDT (2:30 pm) – Arrival coverage begins with nasa+, axiom space and spacex channels.
7 in EDT (4:30 pm) -Docking targeted for the space-making port of the station’s harmony module.
The arrival coverage hatch will continue through the opening and reception comments.

What was the cost of Axiom Mission?
All three countries – India, Poland and Hungary – are billing for their astronauts. According to Spacenews.com, Hungary announced in 2022 that he was paying $ 100 million for his seat.
India and Poland have not revealed how much they are spending. However, the news agency PTI earlier stated that the Indian space agency is spending ISRO 550 crores on Axiom-4 mission.
