A man from Kasanj district of Uttar Pradesh has allegedly beaten his five -month pregnant wife and beaten her, due to which she was told to fall from the roof of his house in Kasganj district, cited the officials.
The 25 -year -old woman named Brajbala passed away after an attack on additional salt in the food prepared by the police on Wednesday evening.
The incident took place in Nagda Dhak village and arose from a small dispute over food between Brajbala and her husband Ramu.
The struggle became violent when Ramu allegedly attacked Brajbala, causing him to fall from the roof and suffered serious injuries.
Family members took Brajbala to the district hospital, but due to his important state, he was transferred to Aligarh Medical College, where he died during treatment on Thursday.
After Brajbala’s death, his brother claimed that Ramu had an illicit relationship with his sister -in -law, one thing was opposed by Brajbala, the report said in the report.
It is believed that there was a common cause of arguments between the couple.
Ramu allegedly fled from the spot after the incident, but was later caught by the villagers from a house outside the village the same night and handed over to the police, quoting Additional Superintendent of Police Rajesh Bharti.
The ASP said, “A case has been registered against Ramu, and investigation is going on.”
The police took Brajbala’s body for postmortem and started an investigation.
