After Deepika Padukone’s demand for 8-hour shift, veteran film industry actress Shefali Shah has also been seen expressing her views on ‘fixed working hours’. Shefali tells that after the success of ‘Delhi Crime’, she now works wherever she goes by fixing her shooting hours. Whereas earlier she used to shoot 24-24 hours.

Actresses of yesteryear often mention that now the working conditions for women in Bollywood have become much better than before. But when Deepika Padukone starts the ‘debate of fixed working hours’ for actors in films, it becomes clear that the situation still demands many changes. In this episode, Shefali Shah, the lead actress of the international fame web series ‘Delhi Crime’, has talked about ‘fixed working hours’. In an interview given to AyraNews24x7, Shefali said that after the success of Delhi Crime web show, she is now demanding fixed time in projects. But earlier this was impossible.
Now I get whatever I ask for
Shefali Shah is seen playing a police officer in the third season of ‘Delhi Crime’. In her latest interview, the actress said, “After such a long time, after Delhi Crime, when I am the lead of the show, I started getting the things that I ask for. Earlier, this question did not even arise. For a long time, I did not have any manager, now I have someone with me and she does everything for my complete protection. Also, now it has also started happening that if my words are not accepted, I will not do the project. Whereas earlier, I was also told, I would have agreed.”
Shefali shared her past experiences, when she used to shoot continuously for 24 hours. She told, “Recently Vipul Shah (Shefali’s husband and producer) was talking to my assistant that she will have to free me from shooting after my fixed time. Because I can no longer shoot 24 hours. However, in some ways, I am still made to feel guilty for this.”
