Shalini Pasi revealed how she was groped by a group of women at a friend’s sister’s wedding. That meeting ultimately ended in her marriage to Sanjay Pasi.
Shalini Pasi has been the talk of the town due to her fabulous and passionate character in Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives. In a new interview with Brute India, Shalini opened up about her love story and how she married businessman Sanjay Pasi. How did Shalini get married?
In the interview, when Shalini was asked about her marriage story, she said, “I was at my friend’s sister’s wedding, then some girls came to me and said, ‘Are you married?’ ‘Are your parents coming to the mehendi ceremony?’ I said, ‘No, my parents will come in the evening.’ So he went back and told his mother that we have found the right girl for Sanjay Bhaiya. Then in the evening my husband’s family came to meet us. It was an arranged marriage but… my husband is my universe.
When Shalini met Sanjay
When she was asked when she met Sanjay for the first time, she said, ‘He had come for a wedding. He suddenly came to my friend’s wedding and came to meet me. I told him I wanted someone who didn’t drink, smoke, or gamble because I don’t do that. I want someone who is on the same wavelength. It was really amazing to be with Sanjay, to meet him and his family. They are absolutely wonderful people.”
Shalini Pasi is one of the three new participants in season 3 of The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives along with Riddhima Kapoor Sahni (Ranbir Kapoor’s sister) and Kalyani Saha. The original cast Maheep Kapoor, Neelam Kothari, Bhavana Pandey and Seema Sajdeh also returned.
Shalini Pasi is a design collector, art patron and fashion personality based in Delhi. Her husband Sanjay Pasi is the chairman of Pasco Group, described as ‘a leading name in Tata Motors-certified dealerships in North India’.
Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives premiered on October 18 on Netflix.
