Every day scientists around the world make many such discoveries, which are surprising to know about. At the same time, we get to know the conditions in which humans lived thousands of years ago. What was his life like during that time? Recently, during the excavation near the archeological site in Italy, something similar was found shocking, which even the scientists were left in tears after seeing. In fact, while digging the ground, they accidentally found the remains of a 17 thousand year old child, who were absolutely safe. When the remains were examined, shocking practices of that period were also revealed. Skeletal analysis conducted by experts revealed that the child was just 16 months old when he died of heart disease during the Ice Age.

However, this information related to the child’s remains was recently published in a journal. But this matter is from 1998. It is said that during that time, archaeologists accidentally found the grave of a child while excavating the Grotta delle Mura cave in Monopoli, Italy. This has been under investigation for years. Now according to the report published in the journal, it is believed that this skeleton of the child is from at least 17,000 years ago, when there was an ice age. It was “very well preserved”, covered by two huge rocks inside the cave. According to a study published in the journal Nature Communications, DNA analysis of the remains revealed that the boy had blue eyes, dark skin and curly dark brown hair. At the same time, the boy’s mother was severely malnourished during her pregnancy.

According to scientists, the child’s remains show that his mother had become pregnant by a family member. For this, scientists have used the term Inbreeding Practices, which means interbreeding practice. The journal’s co-author, anthropologist Alessandra Modi of the University of Florence, called the discovery a “remarkable achievement.” “This baby’s remains helped us draw solid conclusions about the baby’s ancestry, physical characteristics and even some health aspects,” he told NewScientist. The boy’s skin was found to be darker than that of most modern Europeans, but not as dark as that of people from countries with tropical climates such as India and Singapore. All these findings led researchers to believe that this baby was the ancestor of the people called Villabruna. This was a group of people who lived 14,000 years ago after the Ice Age.

Anthropologist Vanessa Villalba-Mauco said of the discovery, “We are learning more and more about Ice Age populations, and this study adds a valuable piece to the puzzle. Let us tell you that the skeleton of the child was found in excellent condition, so the scientists were also able to do a detailed analysis of the boy’s teeth. Even before this, analysis of teeth found in human remains has revealed signs of a brutal “initiation ritual” from an ancient Viking Age tooth set that marked their social identity. New evidence from a study of 1,000-year-old human remains shows that the Vikings had filled horizontal grooves in their teeth, which helps identify them as traders. Research shows that these fillings in teeth were found in places where trade was promoted and all the individuals with filled teeth appear to be adult males.
