Scientists and astronomers have made a major discovery that explains a strange space signal coming from our Milky Way Galaxy. For the last 10 years, he saw radio pulses coming from the Ursa chief constellation (where Big Dipper is). Now, researchers have found that these pulses are coming from a pair of stars. One of them is a dead star called white dwarf. The second is a small, calm red dwarf.
Both these stars are very close and revolve around each other every 125.5 minutes. Because they are so close, their magnetic fields interact, which causes these long radio pulses. This type of phenomenon is known as a long -term radio transient (LPT).
Earlier, such indications were thought to come only from the neutron stars, which are the remains of large -scale stars after the explosion. However, this discovery proves that white dwarf can also create such signs.
Dr. Iris de Ruinter and his team used data from a network of radio telescope in Europe, calling it a loafer to find it. He saw the old recording and hid the signs in a simple vision. He then used telescopes to confirm the search.
These radio pulses are different from fast radio burst (FRBS), which are very small and powerful. LPTs are weak but live long. Scientists believe that many such signs must have been left in the past.
