New Delhi. South Korean tech company Samsung on Monday (May 27) launched the Galaxy F55 in the mid-range segment in the Indian market. This 5G smartphone is the company’s first phone in India with a leather stitch back panel.
This 5G phone is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor. It has a 5000mAh battery. Apart from this, it has a 50 megapixel triple rear camera setup.

Price of the phone
The company has launched the new smartphone in the market with three storage options. The price of 128GB storage with 8GB RAM is Rs 26,999. The price of 256GB storage with 8GB RAM is Rs 29,999 and the price of 256GB storage with 12GB RAM is Rs 29,999. The sale of the phone has started on Flipkart from 7 pm on May 27.

26.6 percent share in 5G smartphone segment
Samsung said on Monday that its growth strategy focused on 5G smartphones has yielded good results and the company has outpaced the industry in the January-March quarter of this year. Raju Pullan, Senior Vice President, MX Division, Samsung India, said that focusing on 5G is important for the growth of the entire mobile phone industry. Pullan said that we have become number one in the 5G smartphone segment with a share of 26.6 percent. He said that the segment of Rs 20,000-30,000 is the fastest growing part in the smartphone category in the Indian market.
