According to the report, the company is planning to discontinue the Edge model in its next flagship series Samsung Galaxy S26. This change is being made because the sales of Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge were not as per expectations.

Samsung launched the Galaxy S25 Edge model with great confidence. The company hoped that its design and new features would provide a different experience to the users. But due to delay in arrival of the phone in the market and low demand, its sales remained very low. This is the reason why the company is now considering not launching the Galaxy S26 Edge model.

Future of Galaxy Edge models
Edge models have always had a special identity among Samsung’s premium smartphones. Many people liked its curved display and stylish look. But now the company’s focus will be on more popular and better selling models.

According to reports, Samsung may present only three models in the Galaxy Unpacked event to be held in 2026, in which the Edge variant will not be included.

This move will affect those who are fans of the Edge model. However, the company is working on new designs and technology. Some reports also say that Samsung can design new phones with large battery backup and light weight. With this, the upcoming Galaxy phones can become even more powerful.

The company has not yet made any official announcement in this regard, but many reliable reports are confirming this. If Samsung indeed discontinues the Galaxy S26 Edge, it would be a major turning point for the Galaxy Edge series.
