Big companies often offer bounty programs in which a hefty reward is given to the person who finds the flaws of the device. Meanwhile, South Korean company Samsung has announced a big reward. The company has said that the person who breaks into the Knox vault found in the Galaxy device will be given a huge reward of up to 1 million dollars (more than Rs 8 crore). Apart from this, rewards will also be given for finding flaws on platforms like TEEGRIS OS and Rich OS.
This bug bounty from Samsung is a part of the ‘Samsung Mobile Division Important Scenario Vulnerability Program’. The aim of this initiative by Samsung is to detect potential attacks that can affect the Galaxy S and Z series smartphones.

Announcing the reward, the company said that if someone does things like data extraction, unlocking the device, arbitrary application installation or bypassing the security of the device, then he will be given a reward of 1 million dollars (more than Rs 8 crore).

If you want to win up to $1 million, you need to bypass Samsung Knox vault and submit a report that proves your attempt was a no-click arbitrary code. Samsung will pay the full amount only if the report passes the given points.

Good report bonus criteria should be: Exploitation of more than one target for the specified point, the breach should work on the latest security of the company’s latest flagship device (Galaxy S and Z series). Also, the breach should be done without privileges.
Samsung is known for paying special attention to the security of its devices, and this is the reason why it has been offering rewards for around 6-7 years now.
