In the year 2024, everyone from Google to Tesla and Cisco laid off employees. Salesforce company was also included in this wave. Salesforce is a cloud software company, which has laid off about 7000 employees during the year 2023-24.
After laying off employees on such a large scale, now the company’s CEO Mark Benioff has invited applications for the appointment of 2000 people. The company has invited applications from people for the AI product line.

The cloud software giant had revealed in a company event organized in San Francisco that it would soon start hiring. With the release of notification regarding the posts, the company has already received 9,000 referrals for these 2,000 posts.

This recruitment has come in the company after two years. During these two years, the company had removed more than 7,000 employees in view of economic challenges. As of January 31, 2024, the company had 72,682 employees, a decline of 1% compared to two years ago.

Salesforce’s second generation AgentForce technology is going to be launched in February 2025 and this fresh hiring is being seen in connection with this. This Agentforce is an AI software, which will work to answer questions.
