Seeing the beauty of the ghats of Chakraghat, people have started considering it similar to the ghats of Banaras or Maheshwar. Here the Navgraha chhatris, which give the look of Rajasthani princely states, have become the center of special attraction. The red stone work done on the ghats gives a different look, and this is the reason why the number of people getting photoshoots done here is continuously increasing.
People are enjoying the spectacular views spread around Sagar Talab such as the elevated corridor, Nazarbagh, Kila Chakra Ghat, Ganesh Ghat, Sanjay Drive Road, cruise and boat ride. Along with these views, there has also been a spate of pre-wedding shooting, which is further enhancing the beauty of this area.

Prachi, who came for the photoshoot, said, “Earlier we had to go to far-off places like Garh Pahra, Rajghat, Rahatgarh and Aabchand. This was a waste of time and money. But now by coming to Chakraghat, we are saving on both the things.”

The beautification of Sagar Pond has been going on for the last 5 years, which has cost about Rs 92 crore. Under this work the ghats have been rebuilt. Different efforts have been made for their beauty. At present these efforts seem to be successful, but nothing can be said about their sustainability in the future.
