RPF Recruitment 2024: Under this recruitment drive, a total of 4660 vacancies are to be filled by RRB, out of which 4,208 are reserved for Constable posts and the remaining 452 are for Sub Inspector posts.
Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is calling for online applications for recruitment of Sub-Inspectors and Constables within Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF). As per the notification, the application process has started today, April 15. The last date to apply for the above posts is 14th May. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply for the posts of Constable and Sub-Inspector through the official website, RPF. , Indianrailways.gov.in.

RPF Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria
Age Range: The minimum age to apply for the post of Sub-Inspector is 20 years and maximum 28 years. However, the age of those applying for the post of constable should be between 18 to 28 years.
Educational qualification:
Sub-Inspector: Must have a graduate degree from a recognized university.
Constable: Candidates must have successfully completed 10th class or equivalent examination from a board recognized by the Government of India.
RPF Recruitment 2024: How to Apply
Step 1: Visit the official website of Railway Recruitment Board rpf. Visit indianrailways.gov.in
Step 2: Then, find and click on the direct link available for RPF Recruitment 2024 on the webpage.
Step 3: On clicking, a new login window will appear on the screen.
Step 4: Register yourself and log in with the generated credentials.
Step 5: Upload all the required documents in the mentioned format and pay the application fee.
Step 6: Double check the RPF Recruitment Application Form and press Submit.
Step 7: Download the confirmation page for future use.
RPF Recruitment 2024: Application Fee
Application fee for all candidates (except categories mentioned below) is Rs 500, Rs 400 will be refunded after deducting bank charges applicable at the time of appearing in CBT. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, Ex-Serviceman, Women, Minority or Economically Backward Class (EBC) will have to pay an application fee of Rs 250. On appearing in CBT, this fee will be refunded after deducting bank charges.
RPF Recruitment 2024: Selection Process
Candidates will have to go through a three-tier selection process which includes Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Measurement Test (PMT), and Document Verification (DV).
Computer Based Test: All candidates have to appear in Online CBT Examination. Based on their performance in CBT exam, candidates will be shortlisted. The examination will be conducted for 90 minutes (1 hour, 30 minutes). Applicants should note that for each wrong answer one third of the total marks of each question will be deducted.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT): Shortlisted candidates (except Ex-Servicemen) will have to undergo physical test.
Document Verification (DV): On successfully qualifying the physical test, candidates will have to undergo the document verification round to be selected as Sub-Inspector and Constable.
RPF Recruitment 2024: Salary Details
Applicants who get selected for the post of Sub-Inspector can expect a starting salary of Rs 35,400, while those selected for Constable posts will get a starting salary of Rs 21,700.
