Royal Enfield Classic 650 has been launched in India at an initial price 3.37 lakhs (East-Shorroom). The motorcycle is joining the range of 650 cc motorcycles from the two-wheeler giant, including models such as Super Metor 650, Interceptor 650, and Shotgun 650. Interestingly, if we take a close form, the classic 650 seems to be based on the 650 shotgun 650. The New Royal Enfield Classic 650 will challenge 650.
Royal Enfield Classic 650 price 3.37 lakh (pre-showroom) and 3.50 lakhs (East-Shoreroom). It is available in three trim options – Hotodes, Classic and Chrome. Entry – Laval Hatrod Trim found two color options – Brantingthorpe Blue and Vallam Red. Mid-spec trim costs 3.41 lakhs (ex-showroom) and a special color receives chaiti. The top-spec trim is chrome and as the name suggests, it is available in a black chrome color theme. Prices of Classic 650 underline the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650.
Royal Enfield Classic 650 has borrowed its design signals from the Royal Enfield Classic 350, one of the best models of all time from the company. However, those who stand out of the design elements of Classic 650 include tear drop -shaped fuel tanks, curved fender and twin exhaust pipes. It is built on a steel frame that is suspended by a binoculars front thorns and backward twin shock absorbers. The tube-type rides a motorcycle ride on the wire-spoke wheels wrapped with tires.
In terms of features, the motorcycle gets an LED headlamp and tail lamp, adjustable lever, USB Type-C charging port, tripper navigation and dual-channel ABS.
The Royal Enfield Classic 650 motorcycles have been powerful, tried and tested, 648 cc, parallel-jurisdiction, air/oil-cooled engines that work on their siblings. This engine is placed for a six-speed transmission with a slipper clutch. The engine churns 46.3 bhp peak power and maximum torque of 52.3 Nm.
