Renault India has announced price hikes of up to 2% across its lineup from January 2026, citing rising costs.
Renault India has announced price hikes across its model range, effective from January 2026. The revision will see prices increasing by up to 2 percent depending on the model and variant. According to the company, this decision has been taken due to rising input costs and the current macroeconomic conditions.
Renault’s current India lineup
Renault currently sells three models in the Indian market: Kwid, Triber and Kiger. After the revision, the entry-level Kwid will continue to be the most affordable offering in the brand’s portfolio, at current ex-showroom prices From Rs 4.29 Lakh 5.99 lakh. The Triber, which is positioned as a compact MPV, is priced between 5.76 lakh more 8.59 lakh (ex-showroom). Kiger compact SUV tops Renault’s India lineup, with prices starting here going up to 5.76 lakh more Rs 10.33 lakh (ex-showroom).
The company has clarified that the price hike will not be uniform and will vary across models and trims. Specific revised prices are expected to be announced closer to the implementation date in January.
The increase comes soon after Renault adjusted its ex-showroom prices following changes under the new GST regime, which had resulted in a reduction in prices of select models. The upcoming increase effectively offsets some of those gains.

The new Renault Duster is coming in January
Along with the pricing update, Renault has also confirmed that it will launch the new generation Duster SUV in India in January 2026. The brand has released the first official teaser of the upcoming model, offering an early glimpse of the rear design of the SUV. Although the teaser does not reveal detailed styling or specifications, it does indicate the beginning of Renault’s build for the India launch of the Duster.
The India-bound Duster is already on sale in international markets, including Europe, where it is marketed as the Dacia Duster.
