Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has reopened the registration window for Jharkhand Combined Civil Services Examination (JCCSE) Mains 2023. Candidates who have qualified the JPSC pre-exam 2023 and have not applied for JPSC Civil Services Mains 2023 can register online through the official website of JPSC at jpsc.gov.in.
As per the JPSC notification, the last date to fill the application form is June 14 till 12 noon. Earlier, the registration window was open from April 26 to May 16, 2024. Later, on the demand of several stakeholders, the commission decided to give a last chance to the candidates who missed the window.
JPSC Civil Services 2024: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have cleared the Jharkhand Combined Civil Services (JCCS) preliminary exam 2023, which was held on April 22, 2024. They must also have a graduation degree from a recognised university or institute, regardless of the field of study.
The minimum age of the candidate should be 21 years. The maximum age limit for unreserved category is 35 years.

According to this, the JPSC Combined Civil Services Main Exam 2023 is tentatively scheduled from June 22 to 24, 2024.
JPSC Civil Services Exam 2024, Selection Process
The JPSC Civil Services Exam selection process comprises of three stages. In the first stage, candidates have to clear the preliminary exam. Candidates should note that the preliminary exam, which acts as a qualifying round, is a multiple-choice objective type OMR-based exam. In the second stage, candidates have to take a written exam, and this stage is crucial for scoring. In the third and final stage, candidates who clear the main exam appear for the interview.
The final merit list is determined on the basis of marks obtained in the main examination and interview, excluding marks of Paper 1.
