Instagram has launched Watch History feature for Reels. Now you can see all the reels you’ve watched, sort and filter them, and easily find any video.
Now no favorite reel will be lost on Instagram.Instagram is introducing a new Watch History feature to further improve its popular Reels feature. This new feature helps users see and search which reels they have watched before. The purpose of this feature is to solve a common problem. Many times users have seen attractive reels, but forget to like or save them.
Watch History not only shows your watched reels, but also includes sorting and filtering options. According to Instagram head Adam Mosseri, users can sort Reels by date of view (new to old or old to new). You can also filter videos according to date range. Additionally, videos by a specific creator can also be filtered, making it easier to find reels from a particular account.
How to access Watch History?
Accessing watch history is very easy. Simply go to your Instagram profile, tap the three-line menu in the top right, then go to Settings. Open Your Activity there and click on Watch History. This feature fits well into Instagram’s existing interface, such as Likes, Saves, and Comments.
The Watch History feature is included in Instagram’s latest app update and will gradually be available to all users. Although scrolling through a long history may seem difficult to some, but due to the sorting and filtering tools in it, this feature will prove to be very useful for those users who watch reels frequently.
