Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has invited online applications for recruitment to several teaching posts at Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College. The last date for submission of online application form is 17 September, 2025 (11:59 pm). Hard copy of filled form, with self-affected documents, should reach the university by October 3, 2025 (5:00 pm).
Applications are invited for the post of Assistant Professor in the following departments:
a) Community Medicine (01)
B) Orthopedic Surgery (01)
C) Pathology (01)
D) Redidionosis (02)
E) Surgery (03)
F) Neurosurgery (01)
Eligibility
For Community Medicine, Orthopedics, Pathology, Radiognosis, and Surgery: MD/MS/DNB with one year of senior residence in a recognized medical college after completing MD/MS in the related subject.
For neurosurgery: DM/MCH/DNB in related subject.
The salary level for Assistant Professor posts is AL-10 (Rs 57,700 -1,82,400).

Candidates will only have to apply through AMU’s career portal: careers.amuonline.ac.in
A non-worthy fee of rupee. 500 is applicable, is payable online. If they upload a valid disability certificate, PWD candidates are exempted.
Separate forms should be filled for each post.
After successful submission, applicants should take a printout of the application, sign it, paste a recent photo, attach self-sufficient copies of all relevant documents, and send it by post:

Important instructions
Candidates should read the advertisement and user manual carefully before applying. Without incomplete or inexplicable form, or without necessary documents, they will be rejected. Working candidates will have to apply through the appropriate channel or no objection certificate should be given at the time of interview.
