RBI Recruitment 2025: Reserve Bank of India (RBI) recently released a notice about its latest recruitment drive starting on 10 September. A total of 120 officers posts are available for Grade B officer posts.
Candidates wishing to work in the top monetary institute of India can apply online through the official website on www.rbi.org.in.
According to the notice, the registration window was opened on September 10 and will close at 6 pm on 30 September.

Step 1: Go to the official website of RBI and navigate on ‘Opportunity @Rbi’ and click on current vacancies
Step 2: “Select notification called Direct Recruitment for Officers in Grade B (DR) 2025 – General/DR/DSIM”
Step 3: Click on the online application to apply.
Step 4: Upload the required documents and pay the applicable fee.
Step 5: Download and save the application form for future reference.
RBI vacancy details
- Officer in Grade B (DR) – General: 83 posts
- Officer in Grade B (DR) – Economic and Policy Research Department (DRR): 17 posts
- Officer in Grade B (DR) – Statistics and Information Management Department (DSIM): 20 posts
RBI Vacancy Eligibility Criteria
Normal stream
Candidates applying through general category should have a graduation in any discipline with at least 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PWBD) or 55% marks with post-graduation (pass marks for SC/ST/PWBD). Applicants with professional qualifications such as CA final or equivalent government recognized technical degrees may also apply.
Deprived post
To apply for posts in DER, master’s degree in economics, finance, economy or related fields with minimum 55% marks is required. Candidates with PGDM/MBA (Finance) are also eligible. People with research/teaching experiences will be introduced.
DSIM post
A candidate should have at least 55% marks with data, mathematical figures, mathematical economics, or master in related fields.
Eligibility: Age
Candidates should not be less than 21 years and less than 21 years till July 1, 2025.
The upper age limit exemption of 32 and 34 years will be given to people with MPhil or PhD qualifications respectively.
Examination schedule
For general category, Phase-I online examination of Grade ‘B’ (DR) will be conducted on 18 October. For DREP, the online examination of Phase-I Grade ‘B’ (DR) will be held on 19 October.
Selection process
This recruitment drive consists of three stages, including preliminary examination, main examination and interview. Based on merit, the shortlisted candidates will move forward in the next examination stage.
