Sarvesh Srivastava/Ayodhya: Under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, 103 railway stations across the country have been developed in a new form, which was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The scheme includes 12 stations of North Eastern Railway, including Balrampur, Gola, Malani, Ramghat Halt, Siddharth Nagar, Swami Narayan Chhapia, Bareilly and Hathras City.
The special thing is that Ramghat Halt, located in Ayodhya, the city of Prabhu Shri Ram, has also been included under this scheme and has been equipped with modern facilities. Prime Minister Modi intends that the railway stations of the country should be made with facilities like airport – Ayodhya Dham Junction has been developed under this thinking. Now, Ramghat Halt, located just one kilometer from that, is also ready to provide modern and better facilities to the passengers.

Ramghat Halt railway station, which connects Ayodhya and Mankapur, is very important in terms of religious and tourism. A large number of devotees descend at this station and bathe in the Saryu river and reach Ayodhya to see Lord Shri Ram. Under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, this station has been developed at a cost of about 8 crore rupees. The station building has been renovated along with modernizing passenger facilities. Apart from this, a new multi -functional complex has also been prepared in the 1164 square meter area, in which arrangements have been made for the stay of devotees and tourists. Five retirement rooms and four dormatry have been constructed in this campus, so that passengers can get comfortable stoppage facility.

Ramghat Halt railway station is now made completely accessible and comfortable for devotees and passengers. Road facility has also been developed to connect the station with Lord Shri Ram’s birthplace, so that it can be easy to move here. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated this newly developed station today. On this occasion, the Mayor and the local MLA appreciated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and said that this station was once deprived of facilities, but now the efforts of the Modi government are rejuvenating railway stations across the country, and Ramghat station has become a great example of this.
