Radhika Merchant opted for a surprisingly sober look on her wedding day. Her pictures were shared on social media by stylist Riya Kapoor.

Rhea wrote, “A fairytale come alive – Radhika Merchant wears an Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla outfit for her wedding to Anant Ambani. Radhika’s outfit is Abu Sandeep’s intricate interpretation of the ‘panetar’ – the Gujarati tradition of the bride wearing a red and white outfit.”
She further added, “The ivory zardozi cut-work ensemble features a back-drawing ghagra, topped with a second detachable turban, a 5-metre head veil and a tissue shoulder dupatta. The ghagra shines with three borders in red. The workmanship is a fine blend of nakshi, saadi and zardozi, symmetrically hand-embroidered in intricate floral butis, embellished with stones, sequins, copper tikkis and a touch of red silk. The head veil features impossibly delicate jaali and cut-work, while the detachable turban is an 80-inch zardozi marvel. The ensemble is completed with a fully embroidered red shoulder dupatta that elevates the silhouette with its maximum drama.”
About marriage
Radhika is set to marry Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani and his wife Nita Ambani. The wedding is taking place at Jio World Centre in BKC, Mumbai. Priyanka Chopra was spotted with her husband Nick Jonas, John Cena, AR Rahman, Anil Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan for the wedding at Jio World Drive venue in Mumbai. Each of them was seen posing for photographers. Just a day before the wedding, American influencer Kim Kardashian and her sister Khloe Kardashian arrived in India. This is reportedly Kim’s first visit to India. Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair and Boris Johnson also arrived in India last night.
