Radhika Merchant looks very beautiful in Anarkali
For the Reliance Diwali party last night, Radhika Merchant’s pink and gold ethnic ensemble was custom-designed by renowned Indian couture designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. It is from her eponymous label and it has transformed Radhika into an Indian fairy tale princess. She accessorized her attire with stylish but minimal jewellery. Decoding Radhika Merchant’s ethnic outfits
This pink and gold Anarkali from the label Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla features a kurta, palazzo pants and dupatta. The silk outfit comes embroidered with intricate gota work, sequin embellishments, shiny tassels and bead work, zari work and embroidered thread work on the borders.
The Anarkali kurta features an angrakha design with tie detailing on the bodice, a split bandhgala neckline, full-length sleeves, a cinched detail below the bust, a flowy skirt and a heavily embroidered hem. Radhika paired the kurta with flared palazzo pants and draped an embroidered silk dupatta over her arms.
Radhika accessorised the Anarkali set with polki and diamond jewellery, which included stunning jhumkis with a beautiful ear chain attached to the bun and a ring with a bolder shaped central diamond. She had tied her long hair into a centre-parted, sleek bun adorned with a gajra.
Finally, for makeup, Radhika opted for dark eyebrows, bright rosy pink eyeshadow, a pretty pink bindi, smooth eyeliner, kajal-lined lids, blush-tinted cheeks, glitter highlighter, bright fuchsia pink lip shade and light outline.
