Description
Radhika Ambani’s first evening as a bride was marked by an extraordinary creation by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, created in collaboration with contemporary Indian artist Jayshree Burman and stylist Riya Kapoor. Jayshree’s mythological vision comes to life in this lehenga with 12 hand-painted panels on exclusive Italian canvas. It celebrates the union of Anant and Radhika with intense imagery: divine figures of the couple and elephants, symbolizing Anant’s love for animals and his auspicious nature.
The outfit features exquisite real gold zardozi embroidery and a cascade of sequins that highlight Jayshree’s artwork, paired with a silk-embroidered blouse by the master artisans of Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. Commenting on the collaboration, Jayshree said, “Abu and Sandeep are artists whose medium is textiles, while mine is the canvas. Both Riya and Abu Sandeep gave me complete creative freedom, allowing my brush to dance on the canvas. I hope this piece brings a smile to Radhika’s face and perhaps finds a place on her wall one day.”
