The flood has caused a lot of damage in Gurdaspur, Amritsar, Pathankot, Kapurthala, Tarn Taran, Ferozepur, Fazilka, Hoshiarpur, Moga, Sangrur, Barnala, Patiala and Mohali districts of Punjab. Amidst heavy rains, there has been flood due to the drainage of drains, along with the release of water from the dams built on the rivers like Ravi, Vyas and Sutlej. Floods inside the district Gurdaspur have caused a lot of havoc. Everyone is helping the flood victims in their own way. Meanwhile, actor Binnu Dhillon reached village Chitti in Gurdaspur on Sunday.
The actor met the flood -affected families and gave them relief material. Talking to the media, actor Binnu Dhillon said, ‘Everyone should support each other in this difficult hour. In the crisis that Punjab is struggling with, not only the Punjabi film industry, the NGO, the government and all the people have come forward to help. Thank you from the heart, this is the real Punjab who stands together in the hour of trouble.
The actor expresses concern
Binnu Dhillon further said, ‘My brother, who is in Canada, told me that many diseases will come after flood, then we have to take care of more people. So we will also come later. It does not matter how much items you are bringing, it matters what your thinking is. We should all come forward to make Punjab stand on our feet again. God is with us, relief material is coming from everywhere, we will soon stand up again.
