Pseb 12th result 2025: This wait is finally over as the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) announced its class 12 results on Wednesday, May 14, 2025.
The official PSEB intermediate results have been announced today on the official website – pseb.ac.in. Students can now check their scorecards of PSEB using their PSEB roll number.
PSEB 12th Result 2025: Pass percentage of schools
Pass percentage of schools in urban PSEB said that the area was 90.74% while it was 91.20% in rural areas.
The pass percentage of government schools was 91.01%, while non-government and aided schools were 92.47% and 86.86% respectively.
Commerce stream students recorded a pass percentage of 96.83%, while the pass percentage of science stream was 98.52%, showing results.
The pass percentage for humanities and commercial courses was 87.58% and 90% respectively.
PSEB 12th Result 2025: Girls out of boys, secure top 3 posts
The girls secured the top three posts in the class 12 board examinations conducted by PSEB, the results of which were declared on Wednesday.
Harsirat Kaur of Sarvhitkari Senior Secondary Vidya Mandir in Barnala Emerged Topper with 500 out of 500 marks, PSEB Chairman Amarpal Singh Said.
Manveer Kaur of SS Memorial Senior Secondary Public School in Ferozeppur finished second with a tally of 498, followed by the akharas of the senior secondary school of Sri Tara Chand Vidya Mandir’s Senior Secondary School in Mansa.
According to PSEB, a total of 265,388 students appeared for the exam, of which 2,41,506 were passed with a overall pass percentage of 91.
PSEB 12th Result 2025: Top Performance District
Amritsar emerged as a top performance district in the State Board Class 12 exam with 96.29% pass percentage this year. Gurdaspur came second with 95.84%, while Pathankot finished third with 94.21%.
Other districts such as Kapurthala, Tarn Taran, Mohali and Malkotla also performed well, each recording more than 93% pass percentage.

In 2025, 91 percent of the candidates appearing for the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) examination have successfully approved the same.
A total of 2,41,506 or more than 2.41 lakh students who appeared for the examination have passed PSEB. According to the result data, in 2025, the total candidates who appeared for the examination were more than 2,65,388 or more than 2.65 lakhs.
Results also show that the girls who appeared for the exam have improved boys in the 12th exam results, where the pass percentage for girls was 94.32 percent compared to 88.08 percent for boys.
A total of 1,24,229 girls appeared for the examination, out of which 1,17,175 passed the examination. On the other hand, 1,41,156 boys appeared for the exam, and 1,24,328 were successfully able to clarify the same.
