For this sequel, he of Penn Studies Jayantillal has joined hands with Gada. It is reported that ‘Tumbar 2’ will be made on a larger scale than the previous film. Its production budget is more than Rs 150 crore, making it one of the most ambitious projects of this genre in Indian cinema.
Tumbar (2018) was highly appreciated for its folklore, mythology and unique combination of horror. The film proved to be a milestone in Indian cinema. In so many years, this movie achieved the status of the Cult, which was well received by the audience and the critics. Even ‘Tumbar’ got recognition in international film festivals.
