The Government of Gujarat has launched the coaching assistance scheme, which aims to provide quality coaching for talented students preparing for national and state level competitive examinations like NEET, JEE and GUJCET. The scheme is specially designed for students who cannot pay high fees of private coaching due to financial obstacles.
This will provide free or government-helped coaching facilities to students to help get admission in medical, engineering and other professional courses. In Gandhinagar, the director of developing caste welfare has invited online applications for this scheme for the educational year 2025-26.
“Coaching aid will be provided for their preparation for social and educationally backward students and economically backward students for examinations like NEET, JEE, and GUJCET (Rs 20,000/- or real fee, whatever is lower,). Students will also be assisted for other competition for other competitive exams like IIM, CEPT, NIFT, NLU, IELTS, toefl and GRE.

To benefit from the coaching assistance scheme, students should complete the necessary educational qualifications and will be residents of Gujarat. The application process is completely online, ensuring transparency and access. Interested students can apply through the official portal on esamajkalyan.gujarat.gov.in. The portal provides details on the plan, eligibility criteria, required documents and application deadline. This online process simplifies the application process and saves time.
