Dharmendra Health Update: Dharmendra is admitted in Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. He is struggling with age related problems. Dharmendra’s son Sunny Deol had earlier described his health as ‘stable’. Now Hema Malini shared Dharmendra’s picture and expressed her feelings along with his health update.
Dharmendra is 89 years old.New Delhi: Due to ill health, veteran actor Dharmendra is under the supervision of doctors at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. He had reached the hospital a week ago for a medical check-up, due to which concerns about his health had increased. Now the veteran actor’s wife Hema Malini has given an update on his health and expressed gratitude for the support of the fans.
Hema Malini shared a smiling picture of Dharmendra on her X account and wrote in the caption, ‘I thank everyone who worried about Dharam ji, who is under the care of doctors in the hospital. He is being kept under constant surveillance. We are all with them. I appeal to all of you to pray that he gets well as soon as possible. Hema Malini was seen reaching the hospital a few hours ago.

Sunny Deol asked to respect privacy
Before Hema Malini, Dharmendra’s son Sunny Deol had issued a statement demanding privacy. He had said, ‘Dharmendra is stable and under observation. Will let you know when we get further updates. There is an appeal to everyone to pray for his speedy recovery and respect the privacy of the family. When Sunny reached Breach Candy Hospital with his son Karan Deol, he was seen sitting in the front seat. He looked worried and covered his face with his hands. Karan was busy with his phone sitting on the back seat.
Dharmendra will be seen in the film ‘Ikkis’
When Dharmendra had reached the hospital earlier this month, his wife-actress Hema Malini had informed about his health. When the photographers asked Hema, ‘How are you sir?’ So he just gestured and said ‘ok’. He also expressed his gratitude with folded hands. Talking about work, Dharmendra will next be seen in Shriram Raghavan’s film ‘Ikkis’, in which Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda and Jaideep Ahlawat are in lead roles.
