Actress Pooja Batra turned 49 on October 27. In an interview with Mid-Day.com in 2021, Pooja opened up about her fitness routine. Pooja, who holds a brown belt with two black stripes in mixed martial arts (MMA), believes that MMA is not just a physical workout, but a mental game-changer, which keeps the mind active and engaged. ‘I find MMA good for my physical and mental health’
He said, “I trained (MMA) three days a week for six years, and earned a brown belt with two black stripes. I find MMA to be good for your physical and mental health. When you learn a routine, and execute movements using both sides of your body, you are connecting the dots in your brain, and keeping it active for longer periods of time… If you put gold in your body, you become gold. Yoga and MMA inspire you to live a balanced life… I am now a certified yoga teacher, and I did my first yoga retreat in Nosara, Costa Rica in August (2021)… I am also a hiker, and I have hiked the base camps of Mount Everest, Mont Blanc, and Mount Baldy.
