Prime Minister Narendra Modi is arriving in Ukraine from Poland. He is to meet President Volodymyr Zelensky. The world is hoping that perhaps a message about the end of the Russia-Ukraine war will come from here. But on Thursday, people were surprised when Zelensky reached the war zone before meeting PM Modi. For the first time, he went to the area from where the Ukrainian army had entered Russia. Dozens of settlements were captured. All the hostages were freed from the Russian army. Some pictures of this have surfaced.
This area of the North East border of Ukraine is currently under the control of the Ukrainian army. Two weeks ago, the Ukrainian army surprisingly attacked Russia and went on capturing villages one after the other. Then Zelensky had said, our army has captured an area of 10 thousand square kilometers in the Kursk region of Russia. However, Zelensky did not name the villages captured then. But he definitely said that his commanders will not stay in this area for long. They want this area to be made a buffer zone, so that the missiles coming from Moscow do not fall in their area. For this, we have captured some areas. Then we will vacate it and go back.

The attack by the Ukrainian army shook Russia
Zelensky later said, since we have captured Kursk, Russian firing has reduced. This has succeeded in saving the lives of people in the northern region of Ukraine. This attack by the Ukrainian army has shaken Russia. However, the crisis for Ukraine has increased further, as the Russian army continues to capture Donetsk, the eastern region of Ukraine. On the other hand, concrete bunkers are being built at bus stops and other places in the city of Kursk, so that civilians can be protected from firing. More than 133,000 people living in this area have left their homes. Only 19 thousand people are now left in this city. The Russian army is making all kinds of efforts to keep them stopped. Goods are being delivered to them.

This is the first such capture after the Second World War
This is the first time since the Second World War that a country is occupying Russian land. However, Ukraine is paying a heavy price for this. The Russian Defense Ministry said that its army has taken control of many villages in Donetsk. Both sides are carrying out heavy drone attacks. A night ago, the Ukrainian army carried out 28 drone attacks on Russia, which were destroyed by the Russian army. Many such videos have surfaced on social media, in which drones can be seen exploding in the sky at night. Ukraine is openly saying that it has carried out these drone attacks.
