PM Modi told Uttarakhand best for ‘destination wedding’, soon you will be able to take 7 trips to Omkareshwar temple

Rudraprayag, The impact of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Wedding in Uttarakhand’ has started becoming visible. Shri Badrinath Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC) has geared up. She is now making big religious places which are associated with God as wedding destinations. Marriage place of Shiva-Parvati, Winter Gaddi place of Kedarnath Dham, Marriage place of Usha-Aniruddha and Omkareshwar Temple Some such historical and religious locations are being made wedding destinations.

Shri Badrinath Kedarnath Temple Committee is developing Omkareshwar Temple as a wedding destination after Trijuginarayan Temple, the wedding venue of Lord Shiva and Parvati. Located in Ukhimath, this temple is the marriage venue of Usha, daughter of Shiva devotee Banasur and Aniruddha, grandson of Lord Krishna. For this, matrimonial rules have been made on the lines of Shantikunj Haridwar.

After becoming a wedding destination, marriages will be conducted at these two mythological places as per Uttarakhandi customs. Local women are being trained to sing Mangal songs, perform Mangal Sthan and prepare traditional dishes of the mountain. For marriage, registration will have to be done with the temple committee only.

PM had given advice
During the Uttarakhand Global Investor Summit in Dehradun in December last year, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had suggested developing Uttarakhand as a wedding destination. After this, the temple committee has started it in the temples under its control. First of all, on the lines of Triyuginarayan, the wedding venue of Shiva and Parvati, the wedding venue of Usha and Anirudh is being developed as a wedding destination.

Registration for marriage begins
According to beliefs, Usha-Aniruddha took seven rounds of Omkareshwar temple. The proof of this is the marriage hall near the temple, in which he took seven rounds. The temple committee has started formal registration for the department at both these places. The temple committee is planning to develop all the mythological temples as wedding destinations.

All Temple Waiting Destination
Temple Committee Chairman Ajay Ajendra said that matrimonial rules have been made on the lines of Shantikunj Haridwar. Omkareshwar temple is being expanded and beautified at a cost of Rs 5 crore. Usha Anirudh’s marriage hall is also being developed. Which is considered a symbol of love. He said that in the first phase, Temple Plaza, Admin Building and the existing administrative building will be developed in the Omkareshwar Temple complex. After that, in the second phase, the work of the temple’s Kotha building and Usha Anirudh marriage hall will be started.
