According to the press release, one will connect the Prayagraj-Jaunpur-Azamgarh-Dohrighat-Gorakhpur road corridor in the country’s most populous state, which will integrate greenfield and brownfield segments. The road is expected to be in line with regional needs and MoRTH will complete the land acquisition work expeditiously, the release said.
Secondly, the Ghazipur-Syed Raja Road section will be connected to local railway stations like Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFCCIL), Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay and Ghazipur city, and air connectivity through Lal Bahadur Shastri Airport at Varanasi.

The two railway lines in Jharkhand aim to increase coal transportation capacity in the country. The cumulative effect of these projects will be doubling of Koderma-Arigada and Shivpur-Kathautia rail lines spanning 133.38 km and 49.08 km respectively.
The Tirupati-Katpadi double line in Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu, which extends for over 100 km, passes through major industrial clusters, including two industrial parks near Renigunta (about 15 km from Tirupati) and a special economic zone (SEZ). ) (85 km) from Tirupati), the press statement said.
The SEZ is an important industrial hub, hosting several export-oriented units, while Renigunta’s proximity to the granite industry near Chittoor provides opportunities for better freight logistics. Additionally, the project increases access to ports such as Krishnapatnam (104 km from Tirupati) and Chennai Port (140 km from Tirupati) and facilitates faster movement of goods and passengers to support tourism and local industries.
Other rail projects in Odisha will further the government’s “Mission 3000 MT” target of doubling coal transportation capacity by 2027. The two projects – Jharsuguda to Sason third and fourth lines rail line, and Sambalpur to Jarapara rail line third and fourth lines – will connect the industrial corridor in the eastern state to Paradip and Dhamra ports, thereby strengthening the regional energy corridor.
