Physiotherapist has suggested 8 stretching and strong practice to relieve foot pain and improve mobility

With specific exercises and use of stretch, you can fix the source of discomfort and avoid further injuries, Dr. Dharam p. Pandey, Director and HOD – Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Sciences, HCMCT Markun Hospitals, New Delhi, explains health shots.

Once you accept that there is a problem, you should find out the cause of leg pain before starting any exercise scheme.

“Often, it can be tight hamstring or calf muscles, weak quads, an over-experimental injury, or some neurological sciatica,” Dr. Pandey says. He says that a physiotherapist can assess the cause and make a personal program to ensure that the practice can reduce pain rather than make it worse.

Do not miss warm-up practice!

Like any exercise, it is really important to reduce it with light warm-up to reduce foot pain. It helps the blood to flow properly in your foot muscles and prepares them for stretching. Here Dr. Pandey suggests:

  • Bent
  • Cycling for five to 10 minutes
  • Ankle rods
  • Fold your knee

Explaining why these are important, experts say: “When your muscles are hot, they are very less likely to be injured and they will actually benefit from stretching and strengthening activities.”

Stretching exercise to relieve foot pain

Stretching helps reduce muscle tightness, improve flexibility and reduce discomfort. Dr. According to Pandey, there are some important stretch for leg pain:

  • Hamstring Stretch: Relax and sit on the floor. Take one leg straight out of your front. Now, gently arrive for your toes, so that your back is to be kept well and straight to the whole time. Hold that stretch for about 20 to 30 seconds, then switch to the legs and do the same thing.
  • Calf stretch: Stand with a wall, keep your hands flat against it. Take back a big step with your other leg. Press the heel of your back towards the floor. Hold the stretch for 20 to 30 seconds, then switch to the sides and spread the other calf.
  • Quadriseps Stretch: Stand on one leg for balance. Arrive back and grab your other leg ankle, gently pull your heel towards your bum. Keep your knees good and keep your best together, and do your best to stay balanced.
  • Hip flexor stretch: Take forward step in a shape position. Fold your front knee and make sure your back leg is straight – you should feel a stretch in front of your back hip. Hold that stretch for 20 to 30 seconds, then switch to the legs and repeat the other side.

Strong exercise for relief from foot pain

Since muscle weakness is often the cause of leg pain, it is equally important to strengthen exercise. Effective exercises include the following:

  • Lifting legs: Lie on your back and lift one leg while keeping it straight. Increase it to about 45 degrees and hold for a few seconds, gently reduce it every time.
  • Bridge: Lie on your back with knees, extend your hips towards the roof. Attach your glute and hamstrings while raising your hips.
  • The wall sits: Slide a wall down about a 90 degree knee with your knee. Its purpose is to strengthen its quadriseps caught in the situation.
  • stairs: To improve the strength and balance of the overall leg, step on a strong stage or step with a leg at a time, in turn the feet.
