People thought that this Brazilian model girl going viral after Rahul Gandhi’s PC was Matheus Ferrero, but in reality he turned out to be a photographer living in Belo Horizonte city of Brazil, who had taken the picture with permission from a female friend in 2017.

This photographer had taken the photo with permission but later posted this photo on websites like Pexels and Stock Photography. This photo could be downloaded for free from here. This picture was posted with the title ‘Woman wearing blue denim jacket’. It has been downloaded more than 4 lakh times from 2 websites. Apart from paid subscription, these websites also allow users to download limited photos for free.

It is being claimed in media reports that this photo has also been used in many publications. The girl’s picture has also been downloaded from here to be used at wrong places.

The photographer got badly trapped

There may be nothing more to the allegations of vote theft after Rahul Gandhi’s revelations, but photographer Ferrero, sitting thousands of kilometers away, is in trouble due to his mistake. While talking to news agency Aos Fatos, she said that people on social media have considered her to be a model from her photo and are troubling her so much that she had to delete her Instagram account.
