Yukand Chapter 2, the latest Kannada court room drama, is now on OTT after a very successful dramatic run. Prominent man built by Krishna Ajai Rao, who was widely known for the image of his romantic hero, the film was only the second director of Pawan Bhat, who made the first cutting shop. During the pre-relaes promotion, Pawan was clearly absent, leading to Ajai. Pawan says, “I am not a very known face, so even though I am the writer and director of the film, I have better understanding to speak after speaking. Then I have more value for what I have to say,” Pawan says, now the film is streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

For most parts, Yuchund chapter 2 is included in the depiction of legal processes, but it has part of cinematic drama and valor, which is likely to divide the audience. Wind’s target audiences, however, seems that it loves, especially melodrama in climax. “As a writer and filmmaker, my aim is not to fulfill a ‘target audience’; I want everyone to enjoy my work, even if their socio-economic situation, they live in the city, etc., etc., but then, no film is right and there is scope for improvement,” they say.

The climax is for melodrama, possibly, for cinematic effects, but if the winds avoided doing so and clinging from a more realistic point of view, what effect would have been different? “Honestly, this is a difficult question to answer. If I shot two versions and then only one chose one, I would be clarified about why I got stuck with this version. But now that I have only shot and released a version, in which Ajai’s character has a dramatic monoton (and it seems that he is a shrine chakra, then he is not fit for a court.”
Yukand Chapter 2 is his first attempt in a court room drama, what is the reaction of Pavan’s learning that he has received? Pawan said, “It was a great learning.
The director, who worked with his brother in his first film, says that Yuchanda was also about working with experienced actors. He says, “I had Prakash Belawadi and TS Naga Bharan and given how they surrendered a director, in particular, a new, incredible in my form,” he says.
