The registration process for the 9th edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026 is going on. A total of 20197946 participants have registered for PPC 2026 as of Tuesday, December 23, 2025. The last date to apply for the event on the official website innovateindia1.mygov.in is January 11, 2026.
The organizing date of Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026 has not been revealed yet.
Like every year, the PPC will probably be held in January or February 2026. During the ceremony, students, parents and teachers will be given an opportunity to ask questions to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
I am sharing some questions asked to PM Modi in the Pariksha Pe Charcha program in previous years.
1. How to handle pressure during exams?
Giving an analogy to cricketers, the PM advised students not to pay attention to pressure. He said that, just like a batsman ignores the chants and noise in the stadium and concentrates on the ball, similarly students should also concentrate on studies instead of thinking about the pressure.
2. How to face challenges?
On this question, PM Modi said that facing challenges brings out the best in a person. Students should remember that it is only through challenges that you will emerge stronger. For example, as the Prime Minister of the country, I have learned to face my challenges because I know that I will emerge victorious and defeat any obstacle that comes my way. One way to overcome your challenges is to gain the trust of others. It doesn’t matter how successful you are, but if your attitude is right then the path becomes easier.
3. When asked about balancing hobbies and extra-curricular activities with studies?
PM Modi said that parents should understand that no one can live like a robot. The PM said that children need freedom to fulfill their passion and not be limited to books only. They need to live under the open sky and do the things they like. If they are allowed to do what they like, they will also perform well in studies. He said, one should not live with the notion that exams are everything in life.
4. How much should a student use mobile and internet?
On this question, the PM said, it is important to use your mobile phone and other gadgets but not at the cost of your precious hours. This has become a problem in most of the houses. It is often seen that children are so engrossed in their phones that they forget about the time they are wasting.
Reducing screen time is important not only during study hours but at other times as well. Using the internet has both good and bad effects and it is important to differentiate between the two. One must understand how to take advantage of the positive fruits of the Internet.
5. How can students manage their time effectively?
Regarding time management, the Prime Minister had said, think about how you can make best use of your time. Write down on a piece of paper what you want to do the next day. Don’t spend your maximum time in the subjects you like the most and least in the subjects you don’t like. Do the opposite, take difficult subjects as challenges.
6. Is it important to recharge our body?
On this question, PM Modi replied that it is very important to recharge the body. Healthy body is synonymous with healthy mindset. For example, sunlight is the easiest way to recharge your body. One should also remember to maintain a healthy sleep schedule.
Most of us waste our precious time lying down and watching reels or surfing social media. Good sleep is very important to maintain a healthy lifestyle. I make sure I get good sleep regardless of my schedule for the day.
Nutrition is another way to recharge the body. Students and parents should ensure that they get a nutritious diet. Eating heavy food is not nutritious. Rather they should take a balanced diet. Following this, students must also do some exercise.
7. How can students deal with anxiety and depression?
Try to tell your problems and difficulties to someone, family or friend etc., this can reduce the pressure. It’s in people’s nature to listen and care. So try to share your thoughts with your loved ones and overcome your fears. Prime Minister Narendra Modi replied, you will never be troubled.
8. Is competition important?
PM Modi replied, “If there are challenges in life, life becomes uninspiring and disappointing. Competition and challenges act as inspiration in life, but competition should be healthy.”
9. Is it important to set goals?
Responding to a question from a student who was unhappy with getting 93 per cent marks in her boards while her target was 95 per cent, the PM said it was not her failure but her success.
He said that one should keep one’s goals within achievable limits. He congratulated the student for keeping her target two marks above her strength.
“If you set your aim at 97, you will definitely get 95.”
10. Should parents compare their children with other students?
On this question, the PM said, “A lot of parents keep giving their children the example of other children. Parents should avoid doing such things… We have also seen that parents who have not been very successful in their lives, who have nothing to say or do not want to tell the world about their successes and achievements, they make their children’s report card their visiting card. Whenever they meet someone, they tell them the story of their children.”
