Veteran actor Pankaj Kapoor has come to protect his son Shahid Kapoor’s controversial successful successful film Kabir Singh (2019), stating that the film just exists in society and not glorifying toxic masculinity. In a recent interview with Lallantop, the experienced actor praised Shahid’s growth as an actor over the years, highlighted his standout performance in Hyder, Fazor and Kabir Singh, while also discussing how Shahid discovered his dramatic abilities.

Addressing the criticism that the film promotes toxic behavior, he replied, “He has also done a good job in Kabir Singh. It is fine, because the poisonous masculinity is present in the society.
