Pakistan’s army is infamous worldwide, black feats in UN, name in rape to smuggling

New York: United Nations General Secretary Antonio Guterres has appealed to India and Pakistan to ‘restraint’, as well as praised the contribution of the two countries to the UN Shanti Sena. He took the name of both countries to send his soldiers to the Shanti Sena. But Guterres should not have named two opposite forces. This is because where the Indian army is considered the most professional in the world, the Pakistani army is infamous worldwide. Apart from the fight, they do all the work.

Guterres said, “I have a deep respect for the governments and people of both countries, especially for his contribution to UN peace missions.” But the question is whether the peace army of India and the army of Pakistan, whose history is full of disgusting crimes, is appropriate to weigh it in the same scales? His black acts are famous in Pakistan. Even at the international level, Pakistan has not left no stone unturned to get its insult. He has been accused of rape and smuggling.

What are the black exploits of Pakistan?

• Boy rape: According to the BBC report, two Pakistani soldiers posted at the UN Mission in Haiti raped a 14 -year -old boy. The extent was reached when the Tribunal of the Pak army sentenced him to just one year and sent him back. Haiti’s then Justice Minister Mitchell Brunache called it a ‘small step’, but expected more strictness from the UN and Pakistan government. But nothing like this happened.
• Smuggling in Congo: In the UN Mission (Monuc) in Congo, Pakistani soldiers were accused of sexual abuse of minor girls along with weapons and gold smuggling. Although the evidence was limited, the UN investigation found mistakes at the individual level, which were assigned to Pakistani officials.
• Attempted conversion: In 2021, Pakistani Colonel Saqib Mushtaki posted in Congo was accused of pressurizing UN employees to adopt Islam. This was a violation of the theory of fairness of the UN. The Pakistani Army started investigation, but the result is unclear till date.

Piles of allegations, lack of evidence
Allegations such as rape, sexual exploitation, smuggling and conversion on Pakistani soldiers have been made many times, but in most cases the lack of evidence or opaque investigation from Pakistan made justice difficult. The UN does not have direct authority over the soldiers, and countries like Pakistan make the matters to the case by giving them light punishment.
