Things required to make hill raita

| Fresh curd | 1 cup |
| Cucumber (grated) | 1 |
| Roasted cumin powder | 1/2 teaspoon |
| chilli powder | In taste |
| freshly ground black pepper | 1/4 teaspoon |

| Green coriander (finely chopped) | 1 tablespoon |
| Mustard oil | 1 tbsp |
| Jakhi jambu | 1/2 teaspoon |
| Asafoetida | a pinch |
