Things required to make hill raita

Material amount
Fresh curd1 cup
Cucumber (grated)1
Roasted cumin powder1/2 teaspoon
chilli powderIn taste
freshly ground black pepper1/4 teaspoon
SaltIn taste
Green coriander (finely chopped)1 tablespoon
Mustard oil1 tbsp
Jakhi jambu1/2 teaspoon
Asafoetidaa pinch

1. First of all, whisk the curd well so that there is no lump in it, that is, it is not too thick.
2. After whispering the curd, grate the cucumber and mix it in the curd.
3. Mix salt, roasted cumin powder, red chili, black pepper and green coriander as per taste
4. Now heat mustard oil in a pan and add jakhya (jambu) to it, asafetida can also be added to taste.
5. After preparing the tempering on the pan, you mix it in a mixture of cucumber-curd. As soon as it is mixed, its smell will spread all around. This is just the flavor of the real hill raita.
6. Mix all these things and cool it for a while and serve it to people.
