On Saturday’s episode of The Kapil Sharma Show, Infosys founder Narayan Murthy and his author wife Sudha Murthy shared happy tales from their personal lives. In a candid revelation, Sudha admitted that she is a very bad cook, but expressed gratitude that Narayan still appreciates her culinary efforts. During the conversation, Sudha told how they have influenced each other. She said, “I have also become a workaholic and punctual like him. I never complain about things in life… I cook very well.”
Sudha joked, “Look at his weight, it’s because of my cooking… My suggestion to all wives is that they should not cook fancy food if they want their husbands to lose weight.”
During the conversation, Kapil Sharma asked whether she often asks her husband what he wants to eat. To this he replied, “I am not an expert in cooking.” I don’t take such risks. I know what he wants. He is not a foodie and that is my advantage.
She narrated an incident in which she forgot to add salt to the food, but Narayan liked the effort and appreciated it. “He said you took out time to cook so I won’t complain about it,” she shared, adding that boys should learn to cook to help their wives in the future.
